Road cycling in Suffolk (groups/clubs) – If you are looking for the ideal base for some social group rides, or you are looking to maximise a training block, Suffolk has the roads for you. Post ride you can maximise your recovery by relaxing in the eight person hot tub. Family Cycling in Suffolk – There are many wonderful traffic free routes/trails near Doves Barn. The Alton Water Circuit is just south of Ipswich and is an 8.5 mile circuit around the reservoir with a café en route. Icknield Way is another of our favourites, an ancient trackway crossing southern England, and the King’s Forest Rides are two circular (mostly) off road rides that take you through forest, heathland and farmland.

Doves Barn offers the perfect facilities for your family cycling in Suffolk holiday.  You will find cycling routes suitable for all abilities.

Cycle Touring – Suffolk’s quiet lanes are mostly flat and a delight to tour by bike.
