Our 16th century barn is the perfect Hen Party house venue in Suffolk. It is a beautifully converted barn near Needham Market in Suffolk and sleeps up to 22 guests.
This hen party house is a perfect location with underfloor heating and all modern amenities, large grounds, hot tub cabin and games room, lots of fun for your hen party in Suffolk.

The spacious grounds of Doves Barn are perfect for a weekend of carefree fun and laughter. Wide open lawns stretched out, dotted with seating areas where groups of guests can gather and chat, sip drinks, and enjoy the fresh air.
Enjoy the fresh open air, use your thinking skills and take some exercise at the same time. We have giant chess and draughts available to play on the extensive lawns at Doves Barn. Please for these ask when you book.

Doves Barn is close to many wonderful traffic free routes and trails in Sufffolk.
Just south of Ipswich is the Alton Water Circuit – an eight and a half mile circuit around the reservoir with a café en route.
Another favourite is Icknield Way – an ancient track way traverrsing southern England.
The King’s Forest Rides are two circular, mostly off road, rides that take you through ancient forest, heath and farmland.

The Suffolk countryside is a tranquil haven, where rolling fields stretch out in every direction, dotted with charming farmhouses and ancient oak trees. Narrow winding roads lead to sleepy villages with thatched cottages and ivy-clad pubs, where time seems to slow down. The air is fresh and clean, carrying the scent of earth and greenery, the unhurried rhythm of rural life. It’s the kind of place that feels timeless, inviting you to pause and savour its quiet charm.
Hiking
There are a number of recognised hiking routes in the area, ideal for an outing with your hen friends.
Beginning at Needham Market, there is a 5.5 mile circular route which takes you through shaded, ancient woodlands, via well trodden footpaths, along field edges and some made up paved sections to the hamlet of Barking and back again. The estimated time to complete the route is around three hours.
